Most content in RecallNote is private to the account that saved it. If you believe content stored in RecallNote is illegal or breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, or you have a complaint about the Service, use the steps below.
Report Illegal Content
Email legal@recallnote.online with the subject “Content report” and include:
- where the content is, such as the account involved or a description of the content;
- why you believe it is illegal, with enough detail for us to assess it;
- your name and email address, unless you are reporting child sexual abuse material;
- a statement that the information in your report is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
Copyright and Trademark Notices
If you believe content in RecallNote infringes your copyright or trademark, email legal@recallnote.online with the subject “Infringement notice” and include:
- the work or mark you believe is infringed;
- where the infringing content is;
- your name, address, phone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
If your content is removed because of a notice and you believe that was a mistake, you can send us a counter notice to the same address. Accounts that repeatedly infringe may be closed.
What Happens Next
We confirm that we received your report, review it carefully and without undue delay, and tell you what we decided. If we remove or restrict content, we tell the account holder what we did and why, unless the law prevents us or it would put others at risk. Where the law requires, we report illegal content to the authorities and remove it within the time the law sets.
Appeals
If you disagree with a decision we made about a report or about your content, email legal@recallnote.online within six months of the decision. A person will review it and tell you the outcome.
Complaints
To make a complaint about RecallNote, including how we handle your personal data, email legal@recallnote.online. We will confirm we received it and reply within 15 days.
Emergencies
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. RecallNote cannot respond to emergencies.
